My goals for you

I’m Dr. Michelle Solomon, a licensed clinical psychologist who works in partnership with my clients to help them feel better emotionally and physically.  We’ll collaborate using proven techniques that can help you transform the way you look at life and the way you confront and manage issues that trouble you.

Background

I am located in Rhode Island and licensed in all PSYPACT states.

I earned my masters and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from William James College in Massachusetts.

My doctoral research involved understanding how social media affects what we think of ourselves and how that may influence our mental health.  My dissertation has been among the most accessed papers in a national research database for several years.

During my training I worked at Butler Hospital, Bradley Hospital, the RISD Counseling Center, Beacon Assessment Center, Advocates, and several private practices in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

I’m a member of the American and Rhode Island Psychological Associations, and serve on the Rhode Island Psychological Association’s Continuing Education Committee.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and friends, listening to music, and find humor to be an essential part of life.
